Project Engineer -Rolling Stock in Manchester, Northwest, United Kingdom
The role of the Project Engineer will be to work closely with multiple internal fleet teams that are tasked with delivering a new fleet to the network. My client is in a critical period of the programme and is looking to transition the fleet from acceptance stages through to passenger service. The ideal interim will have a wealth of technical experience and be able to demonstrate how they can manage and update all documentation relating to Driver Training, Maintenance, modifications, post-acceptance testing and passenger service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an interim to join a well-known name in the industry that has previous experience in introducing new rolling stock or legacy fleets into a busy network.
Due to the complexity, they are looking for a confident individual to hit the ground running and act as the main technical interface for the team involved.
Key skills and experience:
- Experience working within the UK Rail industry
- Experience with managing fleet modification and upgrade projects
- Experience working with rolling stock introduction
- Experience with fleet readiness (depot, maintenance, manuals)
- Experience working on New Fleet programmes is highly desirable
- Proven stakeholder experience with internal stakeholders and fleet manufactures.
