Great opportunity for an engineer with experience of designing or installing and commissioning Station Communication Systems to develop their career as a Project Engineer in Station Systems Design. The successful candidate will be based in our Warwick office.

Reporting to the Project Engineer Team Leader, you'll be part of a multi-skilled technical engineering team. You will be responsible for all station system design activities and will also oversee commissioning for the Transport for London (TfL) and other station communication projects.

My client is involves in the design and commissioning of a variety of station systems for TfL and Network Rail including Station Management Systems, Security CCTV (Analogue and IP), Customer Information Systems and Displays, Public Address, Voice Alarm and Induction Loops, Passenger Help Points and Data Networks.

Typical deliverables include:

• Design production and completion of works to programme
• Production of Bills of Materials (BoM)
• Production of engineering activity schedule and provide to Lead Engineer and other discipline engineers to ensure works are planned and completed on time and to high standards
• Produce test documentation to validate the implemented designs.
• Prepare and configure systems for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Carryout witnessed FAT and site testing
• Oversee onsite commissioning
• Provide support to site implementation team
• Production of handover documents (i.e. Mandatory Asset Information Database)
• Regular reporting against programme to relevant project manager
• Implement robust processes that aim to eliminate telent incurred re-work costs in all delivery phases
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
