Komplete Group are expanding their team and are now looking to hire a Project Engineer / Technical Lead on a permanent or contract basis. You will work flexible hours throughout the UK with an administrative base out of Derby.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, excellent salary + benefits, dependent on experience. A company car / car allowance will be provided.
Overview:
Komplete Group are looking for a time served Mechanical or Electrical Rolling Stock Engineer to support the delivery of several exciting projects across the UK and Ireland. You will also be required to assist with the surveying and estimating of project costs in order to complement our bid team.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Time served Engineer
- Exposure to team management
- Experience of bids and quotes preferred
- Rolling stock build / refurbishment experience essential
- Relevant qualifications e.g. City and Guilds / ONC / HNC
Job description:
Supporting with all aspects of on-site project delivery
Solving on-vehicle engineering issues
Quoting project costs
Surveying and writing process delivery
Managing all tooling calibration, testing and distribution
Estimating and project planning
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes
To develop a good working relationship with all members of the client's staff and promote the firm in a professional manner
Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required
Undertaking installation work to cover events of sickness / absenteeism
Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning
Managing process improvement initiatives and driving through efficiency
