The Role:

As Project Engineering Manager you will lead this company’s telecommunications division and assume responsibility for the Design Management of lineside Operational telecoms, working closely with other departments (Signalling, OHLE and Civil Engineering)

You will also assist the board with strategic planning to capture a greater share of the market in the UK and overseas, using your companies market leading capability.

Key to this role though, is growth.. of you as an individual and your team. You will mentor, coach and direct the next generation of Management, that will in turn help push you further up the ladder!

You will communicate daily with numerous internal and external stakeholders, ranging from other departments within the organisation and your clients!

Required Skills

If you are currently Managing a team of Project Engineers or alternatively looking for a step into Project Engineering Management (having proved your worth) this could be the role for you! You will be motivated by exploring new innovations and always looking to improve technologies and efficiencies to offer your client the highest value in Engineering. Chartered Engineer status is desired but it is the person that is most important! Rail Operational Telecoms experience is critical due to the nature of projects involved.

Salary & Package

This role is offering a generous salary, package and bonus scheme, consummate with the level of experience they are looking for. The basic salary range is between £60,000 & £65,000 with a car or car allowance. This company also offer a generous bonus scheme based on company profit and individual performance (so the ball is in your court!)
