Job Description
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Project Management Assistant / PMA to join a major Train Operating Company on a contract basis. You will be joining an existing team and providing support throughout the project. You don’t need to be from a TOC or even from Train Operations. My client is open to which sector you’re from. You will just require an excellent attitude and experience as a PMA. You will be responsible for; Project Planning, reporting and basic risk management. On various projects related to improvements within the business. You will have knowledge of MS Projects and Excel and you will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
The Candidate
The right person will have a good work ethic and be a team player, you will also be forging your career within Project Management so will have the right attitude. As I mentioned previously the sector is NOT important. What is important is that you have a firm grip on Project Management principals and have experience with Planning, Reporting and Risk Management.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong communicator
- Excellent attitude
- PMA / Project Management Assistant experience
- MS Projects / Excel
- Prince 2 OR APMP (Desirable)

The company are a well-established TOC with vast experience within the Transport Sector.
