My client, a major Rail organisation, is looking for an Interim Project Manager to join them on an initial 6-month contract. They are going through a major Fleet and Engineering Change programme at the moment and are looking for someone to take the lead on a challenging but significant part of this. The main roles and responsibilities will be to ensure that the Depots on the network are ready to accept these changes, and ensure that all staff are fully informed and trained to be able to deal with these changes. There will be a significant technical element within this role, including maintenance and production schedules. There will also be some significant crossover with other workstreams including commercial, procurement and finance.
Key skills:
- Extensive experience working in the UK Rail industry
- Exposure to Change Management, within a Rail Depot environment
- Experience rolling out large-scale Engineering strategies across various workstreams, ideally across Maintenance and Production
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- A diplomatic approach to People and Project Management
