Fire Project Manager Contract or Permanent position

We are curently seeking a Fire Project Manager to join a leading Design, Build and Maintenance company based in London and South East. The company has a strong reputation for delivering best value solutions with particular focus on safety and quality. They are involved in specialised projects that from undertaking feasibility studies through to design, installation, test, commissioning and Maintenance mainly within Rail Comms & M&E projects.

The company is looking to recruit an experienced Fire Project Manager/Engineer for the M&E division due to an expanding portfolio of projects.
Main Accountabilities Planning, control and implementation of projects on behalf of the Contractor:

Working closely with Site Managers to ensure delivery, quality and programme
Meet safety, quality, environmental and assurance requirements.
Deliver projects in accordance with cost, and time budgets
To manage the procurement of subcontract, supplier packages.
Input into the planning of projects and monitoring/controlling progress and productivity.
Identify variations to the contract, and assist in the evaluation of change.
Experience of contract conditions (especially NEC3) and understand basic contractual obligations
Input into the procurement of suppliers/contractors.
Understand roles and requirements with CDM 2015.
Develop and implement inspection and test plans.
Producing and verifying Fire Designs

The works will be mainly in a rail environment but will consider non-rail experienced candidates.
To be considered for this role you wil have ideally been working in a rail environement, but will consider those that don't. Hold industry recognised Fire Qualifications such as Fire Industry Association, BS 5839 Part 1, Unit 1 Fire Detection Design, Unit 2 Advanced Detection & Unit 3 Advanced Design, together with strong project management skills and expereince

Both Permanent and Contract candidates will be considered for this role.
Salaries / rates negotiable dependant upon skills and experience
