We are currently working with a leading consultancy to recruit for a Project Manager with an Infrastructure/ highways background. This is a permanent position based in Nottingham, initially working on a major iconic project. The role offers a salary of £45-55,000+ excellent benefits package.
The company are growing at present and are looking to enhance the team with a talented industry specialist with hands on delivery experience. You will be working on the Roads/M&E/Utilities aspect and engaging with design team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced negotiator, used to working with a variety of challenging clients. You will be used to using NEC contracts extensively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of projects both pre and post-contract with multi-million values
Contributing to business development
Financial management of own commissions
Provide support on major project management commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
Preparation of contracts for commissions to comply with their Risk Management policy
To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate or similar level qualification.
Proven ability to deliver projects up to £10m in value.
Able to form strong client relationships.
Able to work on own initiative and as part of wider team.
Working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
