Job Title - Project Manager (IT/Network Projects)

Location - The Quadrant, Milton Keynes

Rates - Up to £395.43 LTD/Umbrella OR £347.39 PAYE per day | IN SCOPE OF IR35

About the project:

As the Project Manager you will sit within the Customer Service and Delivery team working closely with other Network Rail departments.

The projects within the team vary, with this project looking at an improvement piece of work for one of our CNI locations. It will involve ensuring an improvement plan for the site is completed working with supply chain and on site works to ensure work is completed to time, cost and quality and handed back into maintenance.

What you will do:

• Provide an effective project management service to the clients, including project monitoring and reporting systems
• Participate in the development of competency reviews and training needs analysis
• Manage the development of supporting training programmes for the business change community
• Provide an input to the strategic planning of resourcing and training for business planning purposes
• Control project change, risks and contingency within the projects life cycles and provide all cost, contingency and programme details
• Provide a safe working environment in the execution of work directly under the post holder's responsibility, including development of project safety plans etc

Your experience will include:

• You will have extensive experience working on IT / telecoms networks projects.
• Hold a professional project management qualification (APMP, PRINCE2, MSP and qualified to practitioner level) or equivalent.
• Data Centre experience & Building fit out experience.
• Ideally you will have an understanding of Construction management.
• Previous Network Rail experience is desirable for the role.
