Job Title Project Manager (Rail Telecoms)

Location - Midlands

A Railway Telecommunications Contractor is seeking a Project Manager to join its Midlands based team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading railway telecoms contractors in the UK.

As a Rail Telecoms Project Manager will be mainly head office based but will be required to travel to client meetings and site when required. You will ensure project delivery to the company and railway standards within specified time-scales, and to budget, as well as to provide day to day management and direction and support to the rail business team and become an integral part of the rail management team.

Responsibilities:
Implement PC Licence and HQSE procedures to all assigned projects.
Provide day to day management and direction of specified projects
Carry out regular reviews, monitoring performance against agreed KPIs
Produce reports to to client and senior management
Ensure competent staff are identified and assigned to relevant projects
Promote positive HQSE culture
Undertake regular safety tours and inspections on rail project portfolio.

To be considered for the position you will have experience of project managing multi-disciplined telecommunications projects covering either SISS (CCTV, CIS, PA etc) installation and commissioning or Operational telecommunications (SPTs, PETs, FTN, Copper & fibre networks etc) within a railway environment. Must have Sentinel PTS, working knowledge of CDM regs, GRIP process and an understanding of Railway standards and procedures.
