Rail Project Manager / Up to £65k./ London

Maclean Moore are currently working with a rmajor engineering company who are currently looking for a Project Manager within the Rail Sector to start ASAP paying up to £60,000 p/annum based in Central London.

You will use your rail experience to provide support across our client’s rail teams, on a range of major projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively alongside proposals teams
  • Ensuring tenders are issued to clients in the most professional manner
  • Creating and maintaining a wealth of relevant company information on project details
  • Letters of commendation
  • Technical answers to tender questions and business capabilities.
  • You will offer direct support to the Regional Director in developing new relationships with key clients in the London area.
  • This will include early identification of project opportunities, informing the business of market information and assisting in defining winning strategies.
  • As these opportunities brought into the London office and elsewhere in the business become full projects, the successful candidate will then take overall responsibility for the delivery of those projects to time and budget. Depending on the size and complexity of each project or programme of works, this may include co-ordination of a team of Project Services members, including project management, commercial, planning and technical co-ordination.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work towards Associate Director level within the organisation, assuming full account management responsibilities for major clients based in the midlands.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience within the rail sector ideally with a good rail network within the midlands area.
  • Experience of BID management.
  • Strong ability to be interfacing, build and develop both new and existing client relationships and win work.
  • Good communicator with ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders throughout project life cycle to ensure successful delivery.
  • Strong design based knowledge.
  • Chartered status and/or membership of professional institution is ideal but not essential.
  • Strong understating of rail civils and infrastructure project management with demonstrable experience in this field.
