About the Job
This is an outstanding opportunity to make your mark as Project Manager and demonstrate your skills and capabilities of overseeing multiple rail infrastructure projects and asset maintenance works. The role will see you responsible for the overall project delivery projects such as station refurbishments, platforms, embankments, bridges and structures etc. as well as management of Mid and North Wales minor works asset management frameworks and a variety of tendered civil engineering projects up to for the likes of Network Rail and local authorities in the region.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for projects at all stages from pre-qualifying and tendering through to project completion whilst ensuring successful contract and project delivery in the Mid/North Wales region. You will be required to build positive relationships with all project stakeholders working closely with the clients and site teams to ensure health and safety, quality and overall project programmes are achieved.
The Ideal candidate
To make this role your own, ideally you will have had exposure to rail projects and / or minor works framework(s). Experience on projects such as stations refurbishments, platforms, embankments, bridges and structures etc. is preferred. You will thrive in this role if you are well versed in Project Management from tendering through to project delivery and completion.
The Requirements
You should be educated to Degree level / HNC / HND or equivalent in a relevant civil engineering discipline. Your experience to date should be demonstrable working as a Project Manager for a main contractor in a similar rail civil engineering project or framework environment with a strong knowledge and understanding of Network Rail standards.
Remuneration
Circa £55,000 – £63,000 per annum and you will also be rewarded with an extensive benefits package including a car/car allowance.
