Job Title:

Midlands, commutable from Derby, Birmingham, Stoke on Trent, Nottingham and Sheffield
Salary / Benefits:
£45,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience, plus Package

Company Information:
Working for a Tier 1 Principal Contractor who specialise in Civils & Construction on the existing CP05 Framework delivering major station and infrastructure upgrades.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Ability to scrutinise design information
- Provide value adding input to ensure the optimum solutions are developed for the construction phase
- HNC or degree educated in Civil Engineering
- Have experience of managing elements of a major rail project with responsibility for Health & Safety, Quality, Time and Cost
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you;
- Have experience working on a framework
Role Information;
Project Management. Input into client documentation and plans such as Track Access, Construction Phase Plan, Health & Safety File, Statutory Undertakers Estimate, Handover Schedule, Detailed Local Operating Agreement, Environmental Management Plans. Responsible for the preparation of Monthly Progress Reports for the project and the commencement of construction readiness planning. Design Management and Input. Responsible for ensuring detailed input to the design process including health and safety issues. Engaging with Network Rail representatives and their supply chain to ensure design integration and acceptance. Health & Safety. Responsible for developing project H&S documents and gaining NR approval. Preparation of Health, Safety and Environmental plans and other key documentation. Planning for Commissioning and Handover. Regular liaison with the 'handover' stakeholders including NR, TOC and Maintainer in order to develop an integrated approach for communication and their input to scheme development
