We are looking for two Project Managers with a background in Local Government and Mixed tenure Housing.

You will be responsible for procuring and coordinating all activities of a multi-disciplinary supply chain and internal progress reporting to the client as required.

What you will do:

To ensure that all project management documentation meets the required quality standards as outlined in the Barnet toolkit (Prince 2)

To plan the project, agree the plan with project board, and prepare detailed plans for each stage

To manage the project on a day to day basis

To identify and acquire required resources

To execute the plan, monitor progress and take the necessary corrective action

To report progress at agreed intervals to the project board, advising the board immediately if plan tolerance levels are exceeded

To identify and manage project risks

To manage the expectations of the business areas

To identify, define and manage delivery of project benefits

Your experience will include:

Detailed knowledge of project methodology

Detailed knowledge of project planning processes and techniques

Knowledge of potential sources of risk, trade-off options and their impact on project success

Understanding of change management

Understanding of RIBA stages and managing a wide range of consultants

Previous experience of managing a range of projects

Previous experience of managing a variety of senor stakeholder groups across a complex stakeholder landscape

Experience of developing and of working within a structured programme & project management framework

Experience of successfully managing programme and project risks and issues and understanding the impact of uncertainty on the programme or project

Experience of managing budgets to time, cost and quality requirements

Experience with Local Authorities/Public Sector (preferred)

Experience in delivering client side activities on projects (preferred)
