Our client is a well-known and respected infrastructure specialist, operating in the airports, rail, highways, water, buildings and energy environment for nearly 40 years. Their dedication to providing excellent quality and customer service when building, maintaining and renewing infrastructure, alongside their outstanding delivery of civil engineering projects throughout England and Wales has enabled them to continue to grow and constantly win new work across the business.

They maintain a strong and dedicated airports division, and so due to new work are looking for a Project Manager to join the team!

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the Project Manager I’m looking for if you have experience working on civil engineering projects at Project Manager level within a safety critical environment. It is crucial that you demonstrate an excellent attitude to project delivery and leading a team, as well as communication skills as you will be dealing with the client on a regular basis. ABOUT THE JOB

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery – from ensuring the team on-site are working efficiently and to standards, as well as overseeing the project lifecycle. Due to the nature of the contract, you will be overseeing multiple projects as the contract is high volume, low value, a mixed bag of works and long term. Therefore, it is imperative that you can manage a heavy workload and can still deliver in line with the client’s expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a Project Manager – civil engineering projects
• Experience working in safety critical environment (e.g. rail, highways, airports)
• HNC/HND/Degree in relevant engineering discipline (desirable)
• Must have SMSTS

PACKAGE

• Up to £55k basic salary DOE
• Night shift allowance
• Car or car allowance
• 5% pension contribution
• 23 days’ holiday + 8 days’ bank holiday
• Other benefits (e.g. healthcare)
