THE PROJECT

My client is one of the main contractors, with sign off to bid on both lots on the framework (up to £5m and £25m), collectively worth over £240m in the next 4 years. Projects you are likely be involved in are relief roads, junction widening, Bridge and Roundabout installs with some of the projects undertaken by singular contractors or on a JV.

THE ROLE

As Project Manager you are going to be responsible for the Design Management and input, responsible for the H&S, buildability reviews, all traffic management, and handover requirements. You will be responsible for liaison between, multiple clients and stakeholders, updating and reporting back on progress/issues. To ensure all Commercial and day to day aspects of the projects are managed of the project/s, this may vary from multiple small maintenance to new roundabouts, slip roads etc. All Health and Safety on site (including Construction Phase Health and Safety plan, preparation of all H&S documents).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

REQUIREMENTS

My client is looking for a Project Manager who has a qualification of HNC/Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Project Management experience with a Tier 1 contractor in infrastructure (roads, highways-preferable), motivated to be part of a successful team where opportunities to develop in your career will be available through the growth of the sector. Proven ability to manage, inspire/motivate and deliver!

Permanent position: £55,000+ DOE + car/car allowance + Package
