Project Quality Manager

Maclean Moore are currently partnered with a leading global design consultancy in searching for a Project Quality Manager to join their vibrant London office.

You will be responsible for project managing small and medium sized rail planning projects for a mix of public and private sector clients, as well as leading delivery of significant work packages within larger projects.

Job purpose:

• Managing and overseeing preparation, implementation and regular updates for contract quality schemes.
• Liaising directly with clients and in alignment with the client’s quality assurance scope.
• Managing the review and audit process, advising on quality assurance processes.
• Providing briefings and updates on quality requirements across multiple design functions.
• Attend and contribute to regular project design meetings to address quality issues.
• Operate effectively within the Design and Project Leadership team to ensure quality management is conducted effectively throughout project lifecycle.
• Prepare quality reports addressing project quality issues and safety risks.
• Interface effectively with both design team leads and client to ensure quality management best practises are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Experience of quality management within railway design projects.
• Working knowledge and experience of developing and improving quality management systems within design.
• Member of the Chartered Quality Institute or an appropriate engineering institute (ideally both).

Qualifications:

• Educated to degree or HNC level in Civil Engineering or relevant subject.
• Ideally chartered status with a professional engineering nstitution.
