TXM Recruit are working alongside an exciting partner in the Rail Industry to recruit a RAMS Project Manager.
You will be based at their North West site in Merseyside. Your main goals will include;
- Act as a RAMS Project Manager for UK contracts, working closely with the RAMS team in Switzerland
- Apply and establish consistent RAM/LCC processes and models over the entire product life cycle across UK projects
- Extend and coordinate maintenance concepts with fleet management and product development.
Your Duties:
- Project lead maintenance analysis within each contract
- On-schedule and on-budget handling of demanding RAM topics in international projects at the highest quality level
- Contact for internal and external customers
- Professional leadership of the RAM project team
- Schedule and milestone planning
- Implementation of the customer specifications into the specifications in compliance with the standards, regulations and national laws to be observed
- Responsibility for RAM concepts, RAM specifications, documentation and verification management as well as the creation of RAM budgets for the systems and validation & verification planning at project level
- Planning and management of internal RAM engineering activities including customer acceptance for RAM assurances
- Product introduction and verification of RAM requirements in processing and warranty
- Support in cost controlling and regular reporting to the team and department manager
- Work closely with Stakeholders and customers to ensure acceptance
- Ensuring the feedback of information from the project to engineering and the product improvement process.
Your Profile
Essential:
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in project management in the field of plant or rail vehicle construction; certified project leader desirable
- Experience in managing demanding projects in an international environment desirable
- Analytical thinking and a high level of comprehension in complex processes
- Clear communicator and ability to work in a multi-national organisation
- Excellent Microsoft package knowledge including high experience of working with Excel
- Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and balance highly demanding projects and deadlines
- Flexibility to travel nationally and overseas to other sites on a regular basis including an initial training programme spent in Switzerland.
Desirable:
- Understanding of German (written and spoken) would be an advantage
- Knowledge of ERP and asset management systems is an advantage
- Driving licence
