Senior Project Manager - Rolling Stock Certification

Reporting directly to the Head of Certification, your primary role will be:
- Project Management of rolling stock certification projects including Notified Body, Designated Body and Verification Body (RIS2700) with the following key focus
- Key point of contact on the projects responsible for client liaison and technical delivery to ensure that certification projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Ensuring that Company Quality procedures are followed and applied to all rolling stock certification projects to ensure that compliance to BS EN 17065:2012 is maintained.
- Preparation of tenders and proposals for rolling stock certification projects.
- Identification of staff resourcing requirements to ensure that projects are sufficiently resourced to meet deliverable timescales.
- The scope of work covers On Track Machines (OTM) as well as passenger rolling stock, freight and locomotives. A knowledge of OTM (and also of on track plant) is especially important, including the key OTM British and European standards.
- Projects will range from large, new-build projects to refurbishment/modernisation/ re-purposing based on engineering change.

To progress to interview you will demonstrate excellent leadership ability as well as a strong background in Rolling Stock certification.
