Scheme Project Manager in London, London, United Kingdom
As Scheme Project Manager you will be charged with taking the lead on numerous project works, working closely with key stakeholders who are all operating to challenging deadlines. You will provide technical expertise on the multiple disciplined parts of the project, so a thorough understanding of network rail standards is essential.
The role is predominantly office based although you will be required to travel to site to oversee commissioning and progress and also lead the project through the key stages of the programme to ensure all targets are met. Due to the strong support system in place it is an option to take on a lesser experienced individual providing you have the commitment to develop and grow your career.
To succeed in this position you must have the following skills and attributes:
Experience in a project management or construction role.
Solid understanding of technical projects and processes.
Thorough knowledge of Rail Engineering Standards, preferably having worked for Network Rail previously.
Leadership and management skills.
Working knowledge of the DWWP process
