Position Title Senior Project Manager

Job Summary
Leading AECOM Croydon Rail projects including planning for and the ongoing management of scope, cost, quality, risk, safety, health and environment issues.
Responsibility for representing AECOM with clients on projects;
Working within the AECOM project management system using AECOM specified project management tools and procedures to deliver projects;
Project planning, including developing and executing project executions plans for all projects under responsibility;
Leading cross-discipline project teams, building team capability and stakeholder confidence.
Managing the flow of information between the AECOM teams, client and stakeholders;
Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s (e.g. EVA, etc.) to improve project performance.
Managing the change control process.
Ensuring the production of formal progress and other reports to project directorate and AECOM management.
Mentoring junior project management staff.
Leading on bids as bid manager or capture manager with support from the business development team.
Working within a Project Management Team.
Minimum Requirements
Experience delivering on multi-million pound infrastructure projects
In depth experience and knowledge of project management commissions for large sized infrastructure projects of medium to high complexity.
Preferable experience of delivering railway related projects
Preferable experience in design consultancy service contracts
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate calibre and professionally qualified in one of the following fields: project management, engineering or architecture
Member of one or more professional institutes
Chartered member of a relevant professional institute
