Deploy Rail are working with a specialist railway infrastructure services company based in Yorkshire

We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager / Design Manager to join their team within our Signalling & Power business working in our Signalling department.

Project / Design Manager – Signalling to manage current GRIP 4 design stage of involvement on the transpennine route upgrade – the next 3 projects will be to estimate the target costs and then take one of these projects into delivery

An integral part of the management team you will be both technically and commercially responsible for the management and delivery of Signalling & Power projects within the division. You will also oversee health and safety by ensuring that all work is delivered in compliance with all relevant Company and Industry standards and procedures. You will also be required to ensure provision of key management information required by the business and our customers.

You will be a commercially astute, project management professional with a main contracting background ideally in Signalling. Previous experience in a client facing role is an essential requirement for this role. A skilled communicator with strong people management and organisational ability, you will excel at working to deadlines in a commercial environment and possess a proactive, ‘can-do’ approach.

Ideally you will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and hold a professional qualification such as CEng or MAPM.
