I am looking to place multiple Air Quality Consultants within an international environmental and engineering consultancys Manchester office (and others in the UK). The firm has over 100 offices across the UK, USA, MENA, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The firm has a multitude of projects within the built environment, urban regeneration, heavy industry, infrastructure, power, clean air zones and research. You will work alongside other environmental and engineering partners to deliver a broad range of projects within Air Quality, feeding into wider EIA projects or managing/delivering your own standalone projects.
The firm are looking for individuals with experience of Environmental Permitting, Air Quality modelling (ADMS / ADMS-Roads / AERMOD preferred but other modelling experience acceptable), application of DMRB / LAQM TG(16) / IAQM / EPUK guidelines and familiarity with Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) and the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive. You will work with a range of internal and external teams including engineers, government planners/officials, project managers, modellers and other professionals.
Ideally, you will have experience in a consultancy or client-side environment, having worked with a range of private and public clients. You will have relevant education, as well as working towards full membership of a relevant professional body such as the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM), the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES).

Job Requirements:
- Relevant education in Environmentalism, Air Quality, Inorganic/Organic Science, Chemistry (Essential)
- Air Quality modelling in ADMS, ADMS-Roads, AERMOD (or similar)
- Familiarity with the DMRB, LAQM, EPUK guidelines
- Familiarity with Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) and Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPCC) Directive
- GIS Mapping software experience in ArcGIS or MapInfo
- Membership of IAQM, IEMA or IES
