General Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Assurance Assistant will support the Assurance team in the production of assurance evidence to enable the company to meet its contractual requirements. Support the assurance process through the life cycle stages aiming to achieve incremental acceptance with the client The assurance system is independent of projects and as such receiving of evidence from the Engineering team is key. From time to time the Assurance Assistant will be called upon to support the Engineering team in their delivery of assurance evidence.

Responsibilities

• Support in Collating / tracking /processing deliverables and submissions for internal and external review.
• Support in Confirming Company is compliant with contractual requirements such as Common and Specific Works Information.
• Support in Confirming Company is compliant with Company's Submitted Project documentation.
• Support in the production of Material compliance submissions
• Liaison with Client on Approved Materials Register population and status of products
• Tracking Certificates of Conformity for products used within the project
• Track progress of works within the Assurance team (Actions Tracker)
• Liaison with Project Planners on progress where required
• Support and maintain Assurance KPI tracker
• Support project handover documentation through to project completion.
• Support in the submission and tracking of MAID / AIR documentation
• Occasionally support the and Engineering Team in their delivery of Assurance information.

Education Requirements

• Previous experience of working within a team environment.
• Previous experience of managing tracking deliverables
• Exposure to Quality and or Assurance within the workplace
• Exposure to working on projects with delivery to a client / end user
• Experience of managing documentation
• Computer literate and good experienced with Microsoft
