Quality Administrator in City of London, London, United Kingdom
Quality Assurance Administrator required to join a large, leading rail contractor to be based in site office working on a high profile rail development project in the up and coming area's of East London.
This will be based on a contract basis covering maternity for 6months+
Hours will be 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Rate varies between £11-£14ph PAYE or £13-16ph LTD depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements
- Coordinate with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each hand over area
- Resolve any discrepancies between the completed milestone and quality documentation
- Coordinate with the commissioning / Planning Team to define the scope of work
- Provide progress information for incorporation into project reports
- Monitor and control the status of Snags / Outstanding Works for Specific Information Pack
- Attend the weekly QA, and commissioning meetings
- Coordinate any inconsistencies with test packages with the field Engineers & site Supervisor
- Scanning, Bookmarking and issuing completed transmittals
- Provide progress data to the Assurance Team
Successful candidates must have:
- Previous experience working on site or in a project office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- The ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
It is essential that candidates have a strong site administration and construction background to be shortlisted for the role as limited training is provided and you will need to hit the ground running.
