A well known international major contractor is looking for a Quality Assurance Manger to join a prestigious railway project in Malaysia. This Rail Quality Assurance Manager will have Engineering degree or comparable Technical Bachelorâ€s degree, preferably with a bias toward Quality Management
Minimum ten years of experience preferably in large-scale Infrastructure Projects or Rail Transport Systems
Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager will support the Civil Construction team monitoring that the Contractor achieves Works assurance by complying with:
-Contract quality standards specifications and requirements
-Their Quality Plan, Procedures and other related documents
Specific Responsibilities
Functionally he responds to the Quality Assurance Manager and shall:
-Review Contractorâ€s Quality documentation and issue SONOs prior the commencement of Works
-Review Contractor ITP to identify PMC Inspection & Testing monitoring activities (Personnel required; frequency; Hold, witness and surveillance points)
-Provide QA/QC leadership and guidance to the Civil Construction team
-In coordination with the Civil Construction Team, liaise with Contractor and monitor field QA/QC activity and quality related KPIs
-Release notifications of Non-Conformities and follow up their resolution
-Follow up and report Contractorâ€s Non-Conformities Preventive & Corrective actions
-Establish a reporting system for Non-Conformities, Preventive & Corrective actions and Inspection & Testing monitoring activities
-Review quality records and certifications ensure records they maintained and ready available
-Perform independent auditing, surveillance and observations
-Monitor and participate in the Contractor audit schedule
-Provide QA/QC training sessions as per QA/QC Plan and monitor Contractor QA/QC training program
Collate information and prepare weekly/ monthly activity report
