Quality Engineer – Rail – London – Competitive DOE
My rail client is looking for engineers to control the quality check, to ensure compliance with safety processes and procedures within the Engineering division. You must have experience in rolling stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 as well as other established company and industry regulations
- Drive continuous improvement in fleet reliability
- Identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
- Carry out investigations, statistical analysis and technical audits on fleet
About you:
- Ideally a Certified quality professional
- 5+ years experience in general rolling stock, knowledge of planned maintenance processes and repair of rail vehicle systems.
- Excellent understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Proven analytical problem solving and investigation skills, with the ability to establish root cause and identify appropriate corrective action.
- Excellent and demonstrable managerial skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to perform an interrogation and interpretation of rolling stock Remote Conditional Monitoring data, and then turn into intelligent business information.
