Quality Engineer

Role Summary

My client requires an additional Quality Engineer on Crossrail C660 Project in London, long term contract with competitive day rate.

Previous Rail Experience

Previous Auditing Experience

Lead Auditor Qualification

Sentinel Card ( AC / DCCR / ICI )

CSCS Card

Key Responsibilities

Support QC Manager in conducting Site Surveillance visits

Compile Site Visit/Surveillance Reports

Assist in expediting timely NCR and Observation close-out

Maintain/update the NCR Action Tracker

Report on close out status of site visit actions / NCR's

Issue Quality Alerts/Benchmarks/Bulletins etc.

Attend bi-weekly Construction Meetings as necessary

Review of ITP's, IRN's, procedures, plans and QC related documents

Report on site related performance

Monitor progress of certification packages

Maintain Inspection & Test Schedule

Monitoring of test results

Quality Audits

Develop/maintain Project Audit Schedule

Conduct internal/external audits in a timely manner in line with the Project Audit Schedule

Expedite close-out of audit findings

Report on close out status of audit findings

Conduct trend analysis on audit findings, CAR's, NCR's etc

Quality Assurance

Assist in expediting the timely close out of outstanding QIP/PAF actions

Assist in expediting the timely close out of outstanding 20.9 actions

Maintain/update Lessons Learned Log

Assist with Quality Induction training

Support in administering and updating Quality Induction training registers

Support in compilation of statistics/KPI's for monthly Report

Compile statistics for Weekly/Monthly Quality Meetings

Attend Quality Meetings as necessary

Provide input and statistics for Management Review Meeting

Conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations as/when required

Review and approval of QA documents

Support the team in maintaining a high Quality Performance Index (QPI) score

Support the QA/QC team in maintaining project Quality KPI's

Assist in the roll-out of quality initiatives/improvements

Perform tasks in accordance with the Contract Quality Plan and associated procedures

Support the Quality Manager in the delivery of quality aspects as necessary.
