Are you an experienced Quality engineer with a background in Rail interested in working on multi-million-pound projects?
Ford & Stanley - The Railway Specialists are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality professional to join an engineering manufacturing company who are world leaders in railway electrification, you will be required to review customer requirements and produce quality documentation, including inspection, test and investigation reports including dealing with customer issues and root cause analysis. You will be integral to promoting continuous improvement and the development of processes and procedures to support the business management system
Role and Responsibilities:
- To evaluate project quality requirements from the tender phase and ensure that these are evaluated and disseminated through the business for the life of the project.
- To plan and produce project quality documentation against contract deliverables requirements and timescales.
- To facilitate, implement and monitor the company's Quality Management systems through all departments and ensure where necessary it integrates with the environment and Health and Safety systems.
- To oversee the management of product and process assessments / inspections and FAI's of all components and each stage of the manufacturing process as required.
- To manage the divisional FRACAS system in order to ensure the timely investigation and management of all service issues, customer returns and complaints.

The Candidate
- Experience of working in a Quality or Business Improvement Role
- Computer literate
- Background in either in Engineering or manufacturing company
- Experience managing or leading a team
- Good administration and organisation skills
- Report writing skills
- Experience in Management and assessment of supply chain

Education Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering (HND at minimum)
