Quality Improvement Advisor - £30,000 per annum – South Yorkshire

My client specialise in railway infrastructure and are currently seeking a Quality Improvement Advisor to help build their time. The job will primarily focus on project audit and compliance and the role will involve extensive travel within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Assist with the training & support on the QMS
• Assist in the development of the company Audit Plan
• Carry out audits and inspections of company activities ensuring items requiring attention are resolved with responsible managers and recorded on the audit database
• Assist in the supplier audits
• Undertake trend analysis of audit data and complete subsequent reporting.

About you:

The successful candidate will be trained as an Internal Auditor and have a strong attention to detail and be self-motivated with a pro-active approach with experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines with a minimum level of supervision. Problem solving, communication and good interpersonal skills are required for this role.

The candidate will also ideally have the following experience/skill set:

• Internal Auditor – ideally with experience as a Lead Auditor, but not essential
• A measured and well organised approach to your work
• Confident communication skills, both in writing and in internal and external correspondence
• A competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to challenges and problems
• The ability to manage work to meet varying deadlines
