Arcadis boasts a strong global Rail, Highways & Aviation capability having been appointed to major roles on numerous major transport schemes and light rail, mass transit, main line, and high speed rail schemes in Europe and worldwide. In the UK Arcadis has a strong team of over 600 professionals supported by a large global design centre in India. Our rail teams offer multi-disciplinary design and engineering services as well as program & projects services and business advisory. Our key clients include Network Rail, High Speed 2, High Speed 1, Crossrail 1 & 2, TfL, Hitachi and a number of major contractors. Arcadis are Link Up registered, carry a principal contractor license for NR, and are BS9001, BS14001 and BS11000 accredited.

Our requirement for this role is to support ongoing commissions on Crossrail 2 and Network Rail’s flagship Digital Railway programme, recently secured work on High Speed 2 Phase 1, and new opportunities to deliver designs for the Phase 1 stations.

Requirements:

The Quality Manager possesses, as a minimum, the following capabilities:

• Previous experience of undertaking similar roles on major transportation projects
• Experience of Quality Management and the delivery functions of the Consultant under Self-Certification Contracts
• Knowledge and practical experience of developing, implementing and improving quality management systems
• Is a member of the Chartered Quality Institute (or and equivalent recognised quality body) or an appropriate engineering institute
• Is an International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) auditor or has access to IRCA registered auditors.
