The Company

This dynamic and friendly Organisation is a major supplier of transportation vehicle systems for organisations in the UK and Overseas, this includes air conditioning equipment and safety control systems. They also provide turnkey solutions for Large OEM's across the world.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be a highly experienced Quality professional from the automotive or aerospace sector, with experience of migrating from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015. You’ll be a team player, with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders within the Organisation. You will have a real passion for driving change with the revising of existing operations and updating them where you see fit. This role would ideally suit a real problem solver.

The Role

You will have a drive to take ownership of the QMS and liaise with Customers and Directors. You will carry out internal and external audits and review the company’s current procedures, processes and performance and provide advice on improvements. You will be responsible for the NCR Management and closure, as well as management of the development of flow charts and KPI data and liaising with the relevant departments to implement continuous improvement techniques.

The Requirements

• Workings of a Quality Management System within the automotive, aerospace or rail industry.
• Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Excellent understanding of auditing and audit schedules.
• Understanding of competency management systems.
• Understanding of 8D reports, Design and Process FMEA’s to assist investigations and preventative measures to be adopted.
