About the Role

We have an amazing opportunities for Safety Assurance Managers to work on some of Australia's largest public transport infrastructure projects. You will play a pivotal role in all areas of safety systems assurances as a leader and mentor. This role will require you to be a hands on leader and see you involved with all systems, safety and assurance engineering activities including functional safety. You will work on the development of systems hazard logs, system safety cases/plans, safety assurance plans, safety analysis,/reporting and integrating the Safety Cases of the associated products and generic applications.

Minimum Experience Needed to Apply

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Science and/or Mathematics
• 10 years’ experience including 5 years of management
• Use of Hazard Identification (HAZID/HAZOP, FTA, FMECA)
• Including Hazard Analysis (PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, OSHA)
• Worked to ISO/IEC 61508 Functional Safety Standards
• Extensive experience working to CENELEC Standards including EN 50126/8/9

Desirable Experience

• Worked in a Signalling role or have a good understanding of signalling
• Worked in a RAMS role or have a good understanding of RAMS
• Worked on ETCS projects
• Worked on large international projects
