THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the ideal Safety Assurance specialist if you have experience of delivering effective safety management systems within a highly regulated environment such as rail or aviation. You’ll need knowledge of implementing and monitoring safety recommendations, understand assurance activities and have experience of leading audits.

No doubt you will have excellent communication and report-writing skills and be confident in taking ownership of the system.

THE ROLE

As the Safety Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for the effectiveness of the health and safety management system. This will include implementing processes that assess, monitor and review safety assurance activities and recommendations. You will be taking ownership of the safety management system and producing detailed reports for the Executive team. In addition, you will be leading audits and establishing procedures to develop key learning points.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Please apply today if you have the relevant experience in safety management systems and are a qualified auditor. A NEBOSH certificate is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) Safety Assurance model would be hugely desirable!

THE PACKAGE

The company are offering a basic salary c£40,000 per annum plus a superb suite of benefits including free train travel across a large network, final salary pension plus lots more.
