The successful Quantity Surveyor will ideally have a civil engineering background and be degree qualified or have equivalent experienced.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will likely be willing and competent in the following.

• Carry out re-measurement for subcontractor valuations.
• Attend subcontractor pre-appointment meetings.
• Check and process subcontract payments.
• Assist in the preparation of interim valuations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Prepare and issue subcontract documents.
• Maintain live costs for selected works.
• Liaise with Engineers / Site managers for records.
• Prepare take-offs for procurement of subcontract Packages.
• Assisting the Project Quantity Surveyor with any other duties.
• Change as circumstances dictate to include any other duties requested by management
