If you answered yes then I have the perfect opportunity for you.
The Company: A large privately owned multi faceted contractor with a pedigree stretching over 40 years, and a current group turnover exceeding £300 million a year. Over 1000 permanently employed staff, and showing signs of massive growth in most sectors.
The role:
For the right candidate they are offering the opportunity to join a high performing team within the Rail sector, based out of their Ashford Office. You'd be given the support of the Senior Commercial team to grow and develop, giving you the exposure to support any continued university training etc.
In the rail sector they operate as both a principle contractor and as a specialist sub contractor, so you'd gain an insight of working on both sides of the fence. Work is primarily on the Network Rail network, in a civils capacity working on various frameworks and large projects.
They are looking to recruit an ambitious and determined Graduate Quantity Surveyor, or someone currently studying on a Part Time University Degree course for Quantity Surveying.
Due to the recent success in tendering and growth in this sector the team is looking to expand hence the position. Currently a commercial team of 15 Staff.
The successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor as well as the Sector Commercial Lead on projects and schemes from £200k to £10 million, typically on either NEC Contracts or bespoke Network Rail Contracts.
From currently still studying in your final year or two, to '3 + years' experience working with either a civils / rail or construction contractor.
