Are you a QS/Senior QS looking for your next contract role?
My Client a Market Leader within the Construction sector, is looking for a Commercial QS for a minimum of 6 Months to assist their Commercial team. We are looking for someone with experience from Procurement through to Contract in Plant, Rolling stock, Machinery and maintenance contracts (Preferably within the Rail sector)
Salary: between £350 - £450 daily rate depending on experience
Weekly Core Hours: 8 - 5pm (with some flexibility to be agreed with Commercial Manager)
* Strong proven QS background
* Positive Attitude - This is key to the performance of the successful candidate
* Excellent Work Ethic - No task is too small
* Attention to detail is paramount for this positions must get things right first time, no room for error
* Team Player - Integrate and Interact well with all team members through to stakeholders/customer
* Be flexible in approach
* Local - 1 hour would be ideal from base location
* Plant Experience
You will be flexible, enthusiastic, able to lead and manage a successful team, motivate, be part of team development, delegate activities as required and ensure the team continues to run smoothly and be able to part of the delivery of the commercial services required to make the Plant business a success
The ultimate responsibility is to hire out the plant through compelling proposals and get paid for contracts hired within Plant. Requirement is covering from Pre contract through to Post Contract - Developing and writing proposals (or formal tenders), estimating, cost - value modelling, delivering job through to contract administration and close out.
