Our client is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Aviation & Rail sector and as a result of new awards, seek Quantity Surveyors to be based both in their central Birmingham Head office and onsite at clients office across Birmingham

These role are paying salaries of £40-65,000 depending on experience.

You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:

Applying Value Management technique

Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan

Managing the procurement process

Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively

Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively

Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client

Value engineering and life cycle costing

Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed

Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

Determining and evaluating compensation events

You must have strong experience of:

Preferably RICS qualified with experience in the following:

NEC3 Contract

FIDIC suite of Contracts

Air sector experience including terminals, concourses, and civil works

This is a dynamic role which will lead to a number of future opportunities within the company, ultimately to Director level.
