Quantity Surveyor - Network Engineering in Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom
My client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Preston but delivering a programme of works within Lancashire to Cheshire.
This role operates within the Power division. The team refurbish, repair and build new T&D equipment for the UK power network on behalf of clients such as National Grid & SSE. The primary purpose of the role is to act as the Contractor QS which encompasses subcontractor management, variations and CVR Reporting.
This is a great opportunity to take a varied role reporting to a Senior QS in a £60m t/o business working in an NEC Option 3 (Target Cost contract) for refurbishment of steelwork structures. There are 6 people in the total QS team.
What do I need to do the job?
You'll need:
- Experience operating as a contractor QS within Constructon, Civil Engineering or aligned sector
- Cost Value Reconciliation Reporting (CVR), Subcontractor Management and Variations experience are all required.
- UK Drivers Licence
