How would you like to work with a market leading utility contractor?
I'm currently recruiting for a permanent Quantity Surveyor with a strong background working on multimillion-pound projects in the infrastructure and utility sector to join my client, one of the largest utility contractors in the UK. This is a West London based project which will continue for around 18-24 months looking for a hardworking and well-rounded QS.
Location: West London
Roles and responsibilities:
- Preparing subcontract enquiries / quotation comparisons and subcontract documents.
- Commercial management of subcontractors, including processing payments once authorised by senior management.
- Cost monitoring of site resources.
- Production of applications for payments in accordance with the conditions of the contract.
- Providing commercial advice to the site team by advising and using your team's reports.
- Commercially lead meetings concerning performance on key parts of a project

Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND (not necessary)
- Experience working on Utility projects
- Working knowledge of NEC/JCT
- Have a very good work ethic and be willing to work hard
