Quantity Surveyor in Leatherhead, Surrey, United Kingdom

A great regional contractor who turnover approximately £200m a year in their rail division alone, are operating on a multi-million pound framework where they have a long standing relationship and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic and buzzing team, to be based in their Head Office in Surrey / Central London.

Responsibilities:

  • Commercial reporting
  • The preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment
  • The preparation of Cost Reports to the Client
  • The preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
  • The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
  • Contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND
  • Civils main contractor background (rail would be preferable, approximately 4 years exp)
  • Working knowledge of NEC Target Cost contracts.
  • Major project experience
  • A good work ethic, willing to work hard and be rewarded for it!
