ABOUT THE ROLE & THE COMPANY

Based on site in East Anglia, you will be working on a large Infrastructure project for an End-Client that is very well known in the Rail industry. With 12 months left on the project, this is your opportunity to secure your finances for the long term as it expected that you will see the project out until final handover. Reporting to the Commercial Lead, on a day to day basis you will be responsible for all-round QS duties but more specifically; Checking and Monitoring Cost, Monthly Applications, Vetting Applications, Subcontract Management, Monitoring Change, Aligning CMAR Traffic, Early Warnings, Compensation Events, & Client Liaison.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The client I’m working with are looking for a Civils/Rail biased Quantity Surveyor with previous experience working on large projects and excellent knowledge of NEC Forms of Contract. You will have experience using CMAR. Ideally you will have experience on both Client and Contractor side of the industry. Being degree qualified is desired but not necessary. Amongst all of this you will be forth coming with your attitude towards work and be able to carry out all your work efficiently and to the highest standard. REMUNERATION

The successful candidate will be heavily rewarded for their hard work and flexibility. With a competitive day rate of up to £325 (negotiable), based on experience/level.
