Railway Surveyor, also interested in Land and Utilities Surveyors
Location
Kilmarnock work across Glasgow, Edinburgh & Scotland
Salary / Benefits:
- £24,000 - £30,000 per annum plus bonus negotiable dependant on level and experience.
- Company vehicle, fuel card, laptop & mobile phone will be provided

Company Information:
- one of the UK's leading land survey organisations.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- 5 years surveying experience (at least 3 of which will be relevant to the railway)
- Experience of topographical Surveys
- A good knowledge of the latest survey technology, Leica, Trimble, Railway Gauging equipment, AutoCad. etc.
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Amberg GRP 1000 & 3000 experience
- LSS knowledge
Role Information;
The type of projects that will be undertaken are PWAY topographical surveys, control network establishment, tunnel surveys, clearance profile surveys, various gauging surveys and all associated office processing.
Whilst based in Kilmarnock the projects do require the company to work the length and breadth of the Scotland so a willingness to travel will be required.
Normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, although due to the nature of the business weekend work may be required with overtime being paid over and above salary.
