Due to recent award of a number of major, world-class projects, my clients is going through an exciting period of significant growth, and as such URGENT seek a Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team of experienced professionals on a contract basis based in Derby.
Rate is £350-400 per day.

You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:
Presentation of all applications for payment, including all contractual entitlements.
Ensuring that payments are received in accordance with the contract terms.
Final Accounts, including negotiation of all contractual entitlements.
Preparation of forward work schedules and cash flows.
Preparation and presentation of Monthly Cost Value Reconciliation Reports
Procurement, negotiation and placing of Sub-contract Orders.
Financial and commercial management of Sub-contractors through to settlement of their Final Accounts.
Ensuring that all contractual letters/ notices are presented in accordance with the contract requirements.
Preparation of appropriate documentation in support of additional payment, variations, claims etc
Commercial support to the site and contracts management team
Commercial support to the Estimating and Procurement Team as appropriate

You must have the below:
Qualified to degree level / equivalent or compensating experience.
Be able to provide “stand alone” commercial services to the Project.
IT Literate, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
