SENIOR SURVEYOR - RAIL - NORTH WEST PERMANENT

Senior Surveyor currently required to join a leading Surveying and Monitoring contractor in the North West on a permanent basis. The Senior Surveyor will assist the Survey Manager and ensure all works are undertaken in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, whilst maintaining high standards.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Survey Manager, overseeing a large section of surveying work across a large Rail infrastructure project
• Developing, leading and supporting surveyors in completing their duties
• Client liaison, including producing reports and preparing drawings
• Promoting collaboration with the wider business and it's partners
• Processing and analysing data using a number of software packages
• Undertaking surveys using a variety of specialist equipment

Accountable for:

• Ensuring communication with team members, support functions and clients
• Ensuring continuous improvement opportunities are identified and implemented
• Maintaining monitoring equipment
• Reporting unsafe practices where necessary
• Completing all training requirements to comply with FORS standards

Key requirements:

• Educated to degree lever OR extensive surveying experience - Over 5 years
• Experience of completing a variety of surveys including TOPO surveys
• Knowledge of surveying techniques and instruments used
• Excellent understand and regular use of AutoCAD
• PTS, COSS, Lookout tickets
