Senior Utility Surveyor in Swindon, Rosyth, Ireland, National, United Kingdom
Geo-Info are looking for a Senior Utility Surveyor who has a proven track record in Utility and GPR surveys to help with our expanding workload within the civil, rail and construction industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on high level of service with a professional approach, determination and ambition.
You will be responsible for detection and mapping underground utilities with Radio Detection (RD4000 and RD 8000), Electromagnetic and GPR techniques.
Qualification:
- A Diploma or Postgraduate qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Experience of Managing & Leading Teams
- Effective communication, negotiating & presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise & plan work effectively
- Experience of geographical information systems (GIS) and Surveying Programs
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Knowledge of Planning & Environmental regulations
- Ability to prepare method statements and risk assessments
- Proficiency with (but not limited to) Utility Surveying Practices (CAT & GENNY, GPR, CCTV)
- Experience of Leica and/or Trimble instruments (GNSS/GPS & Total Station)
- Capable of data processing, interpretation and presentation of survey results
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
- Experience with MS Office
- Full Clean Driving Licence
Desirable:
- CSCS/Safe Pass
- PTS
Flexibility will be required with travel and working arrangements.
