Safeguarding on Rail Scheme Partnerships Manager –
Salary: up to £36,000 pa (4 days pro rata)
1 role based in our HQ in Sandbach with travel across the UK and some flexibility to work from home.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape our Safeguarding on Transport programme and make a positive impact on some of the most vulnerable children in our society. The Safeguarding On Rail scheme (SRS) is a requirement from the Department for Transport, monitored by British Transport Police with the aim of transport providers having a safeguarding policy and plan to manage vulnerable children.
Through Railway Children’s unique relationship with the rail industry, you will work alongside the Department for Transport, the British Transport Police and Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to create a safety network for vulnerable children, managing a number of accounts to enable TOCs to meet their safeguarding obligations.
You will need to be a successful project manager with a proven track record of managing a number of positive business accounts. You will also need to have experience of managing contracts and deadlines and the ability to network with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience of working in the rail sector is highly desirable as is knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable children.
