My client an industry leading technology design and delivery business operating across rail and infrastructure require an Installation Design Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in Warwick.

As the successful candidate you will be required to deliver installation design across telecoms and comms systems for the UK rail sector, ensuring safety, quality and program budget is considered at all stages.

Paramount to your successful application is proven experience of delivering for Network Rail or simararily focused telecoms design projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed designs in line with the engineering plan, taking into account both quality and safety
• Provide updates and reports to the planning and programme management teams, whilst also attending the design review and progress meetings.
• Update and ensure the bill of materials is maintained, coupled with excellent Document Control management and compliance

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proven ability with CAD, with Microstation a preference
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and ideally MS Visio
• Current or previous holder of PTS entry permits
