THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are the ideal Planning Engineer if you have experience in preparing test plans, cases and scripts for infrastructure projects.

You’ll already have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be familiar with schedule development, control and analysis both on site and in office.

A proactive Engineer, you’ll have a good understanding of construction processes and be able to engage with and influence contractors and internal project teams.

THE ROLE

As the Planning Engineer, you will identify future project milestones and schedule contractor test activities in-line with other planned works.

You will prepare and present schedule impact reports, review progress to the schedules and develop recovery plans.

The scope will include identifying productivity, resource and labour requirements to meet contractual requirements and working with other project teams to agree schedules and review costs.

THE REQUIREMENTS

As the Planning Engineer, it is essential that you have experience of planning and scheduling within a construction or infrastructure environment.

You will need to be competent on planning software such as Primavera (P6) and have a basic understanding of NEC contract processes.

You’re likely to be educated to degree standard in a technical discipline and have fantastic IT skills including Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel.

THE PACKAGE
