The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Principal Rail Engineer or a well established Senior Rail Engineer to make a progressive step in their career with a global and high profile company.

The company are consistently at the forefront of design and delivery for the largest and often most well-known projects globally. Due to increased project wins, the organisation is looking to build on their current team to deliver current and future workload.

You will work on a variety of high profile rail Civil and Structural design projects. This will mainly involve being in charge of junior team of engineers, providing your technical expertise to help develop these individuals whilst providing technical delivery of civil engineering designs. You will be in charge of a team delivering high quality engineering solutions and will be involved in all aspects of this process.

The Person

We are looking for someone who has excelled in their career in engineering, specifically in rail. You will need to be Chartered or working to a Chartered status by the Engineering Council, have a proven track record of being successful in a Engineering role, leading a team and developing those around you. You will have a good knowledge of the rail infrastructure, specifically working to National Rail standards. Membership to ICE and similar organisations is advantageous.

Essential Skills

This role requires extensive experience in UK based infrastructure, specifically having worked on either highways or rail based civil and structural design. A chartered status is essential to be successful in application for this role.

The Reward

The remuneration of this particular role will be negotiable depending on experience upon successful interview; however will be in the region of approximately £40-50,000 per annum with contributory pension scheme.
